- Hamas, the Palestinian political organization considered to be a terrorist group by most western countries, is ready to declare a temporary cease fire with Israel (CBS News):

- The House of Representatives is ready to move forward with a Contempt of Congress vote against Attorney General Eric Holder. Representative Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform committee says a vote can still be avoided (Fox News):
