Open Chat... All Day, Every Day! Express Your Views, Debate, and Challenge the Views of Others!

In order to keep up with the nature of free, spirited debate, I wanted to place the chat feature at the top of the homepage. This ensures people can come here and share their views on anything they wish and not have it be related to any specific discussion. Here, people can share ideas, links, and views "unmoderated" and an their own pace. To me, this makes The Elephant in the Room blog truly a place for debate.

  1. It appears that the delusional Newt Gingrich considers finishing second in the south (to a guy from the north) a win. Well I guess after battling Ron Paul for dead last for umpteen primaries second may feel like a win.

How has that southern strategy worked out for you Newt? Well, you won your home state of Georgia and won your neighbor to the east, South Carolina. You were third in Tennessee, your neighbor to the north. You finished second in Florida (southern neighbor) but were beaten by 15 points and were second in Alabama (western neighbor).

For you to remain in the race at this point tells me either you are one very pompous and narcissistic individual or you, like Ron Paul, are trying to make sure that Romney gets the nomination.

Why don't you just go join your brethren at the nearest OWS rally?
