Open Chat... All Day, Every Day! Express Your Views, Debate, and Challenge the Views of Others!

In order to keep up with the nature of free, spirited debate, I wanted to place the chat feature at the top of the homepage. This ensures people can come here and share their views on anything they wish and not have it be related to any specific discussion. Here, people can share ideas, links, and views "unmoderated" and an their own pace. To me, this makes The Elephant in the Room blog truly a place for debate.

I think it's time for fellow democrats to realize that the Obama administration's policies are not working, and in fact, are wasting our resources. We spent $787 B in stimulus to get us to where we are. We have no jobs to show for it, and it was a losing bet. I think our best hope is to change things in 2016. We took gamble on Obama and we need to accept that it didn't work. Economically, the dependency state that he has strived to push is hurting our country more, and the debt crisis is going to eliminate any chance we have to get out of it. Something has to change, and as the president, he is the first step. He has divided us to no end under a promise of unity. Change must happen, and I encourage fellow democrats to vote for Romney, a true leader who can work with BOTH sides. Thank you.

    1. Thank you!

You are a breath of fresh air, and give me hope that there is a light at the end of this tunnel.

Hopefully, your message will resonate throughout the community of Democrats and Liberals.

  2. Im interested to know what you guys think Romney (and the congress obviously) will be able to do differently to help.

What policy changes that he has proposed do you like the most and how do you think they will make a difference with the rate of recovery?
