Open Chat... All Day, Every Day! Express Your Views, Debate, and Challenge the Views of Others!

In order to keep up with the nature of free, spirited debate, I wanted to place the chat feature at the top of the homepage. This ensures people can come here and share their views on anything they wish and not have it be related to any specific discussion. Here, people can share ideas, links, and views "unmoderated" and an their own pace. To me, this makes The Elephant in the Room blog truly a place for debate.

  1. Kansas primary

It appears that Gingrich and Paul are still having their own version of the biggest loser. This primary (like most of them)Ron Paul was the biggest loser, barely.

Newt, if you can't win in the south tomorrow, you need to get the hell out of the race, unless you want to ensure that Romney is the candidate. (Actually you should already be out of it)

When will you get the picture, Mr. Paul? At least you got double digit support in Kansas (12%) which is better than the single digit (8% and 9%) you were getting during Super Tuesday.

    Rogue American soldier

Just a terrible story. My heart goes out to the victims and their families as well as the family of the soldier. Obviously the Staff Sergeant had some sort of major mental breakdown which is why I feel for his wife and two kids.

I am not condoning the soldiers actions. I would guess that he probably even had a fairly good service record. You don't just make it to staff NCO level with a bad service record.

I guess until more info is made available to us, I will leave my comments at that.
