Open Chat... All Day, Every Day! Express Your Views, Debate, and Challenge the Views of Others!

In order to keep up with the nature of free, spirited debate, I wanted to place the chat feature at the top of the homepage. This ensures people can come here and share their views on anything they wish and not have it be related to any specific discussion. Here, people can share ideas, links, and views "unmoderated" and an their own pace. To me, this makes The Elephant in the Room blog truly a place for debate.

February 7th, 2012 - Morning Headlines

Morning Headlines:

- Greek unions are set to strike again today showing further disdain with the country's austerity measures (CNN):

- President Obama does an about face and endorses a Super PAC (Washington Post):

- The Los Angeles elementary school (Miramonte Elementary) that has been at the center of news for the alleged sexual abuse of students is replacing its entire staff (CNN):

- U.S. is potentially transferring 5,000 U.S. marines from Japan to Guam (Fox News):

  1. 5,000 more Marines to Guam? Will Hank Johnson (D-GA) be even more worried about the island of Guam "tipping over and capsizing" with 5,000 more Marines?

If you don't know what I'm talking about go see for yourself, .

Keep in mind that the Democrats are the smart ones and that the Republicans are the stupid ones as you watch the video. LOL

    1. 32slim32 - good morning!

LOL, how do you remember these kind of things. It's like you're a database that you can personally pull from whenever you need to give some "nuts" for lack of a better word to a position you take. Nice!

    2. goodness!!!! i was waiting for a smile, a snicker, a something that would indicate that Johnson didn't ACTUALLY think Guam would capsize... Good job Georgia, he's certainly a Peach!!!

    3. Oh no, he BELIEVED IT COULD. That's some funny stuff. It is scary as hell he holds an elected office.

  2. Why LME, I have the memory of an ELEPHANT and a very Loudmouth. LOL
