Open Chat... All Day, Every Day! Express Your Views, Debate, and Challenge the Views of Others!

In order to keep up with the nature of free, spirited debate, I wanted to place the chat feature at the top of the homepage. This ensures people can come here and share their views on anything they wish and not have it be related to any specific discussion. Here, people can share ideas, links, and views "unmoderated" and an their own pace. To me, this makes The Elephant in the Room blog truly a place for debate.

    1. See response to your lame, baseless CBS article below. You libs are airheads. You don't really know anything, but when you think you got a "oh, I gotcha" post, you hold it as fact. Maybe you should do some real research behind this. Posting a garbage, chopped opinion piece isn't reality. Your tinfoil hat is crooked.

    1. You are retarded. The CBS article is factless. It makes one argument with one graph that is not true, and you post it like it is. You are a sucker. When Bush left office he was responsible up to $10.9 trillion in debt. Obama is about to hit $16T. That's $5T. You do the math. $5T in 3 years of budget. You can post all the liberal CBS spin articles you want. Facts are facts.

    2. And yes, you cute little CBS article had one, ONE paragraph by ONE economist (using no data sources) as proof. Seriously, loyal watcher... doesn't that strike you as odd? Slim? Stretching? I know you are better than this.

  4. This is an excellent object lesson on how a media source is able to use fabricated "statistics" (the U.S. Presidental-term bar chart of real per-capita government spending) to misrepresent (or at the very least, imply) the attributes of a U.S. political party. What is not shown at all is the majority party that controlled either the U.S. House or Senate. Government spending bills always begin in the U.S. House of Representatives. The Obama administration budgets of $3.6, $3.8, $3.7, and (proposed) $3.8 trillion and accumulated debt of over $5 trillion in JUST three (3) years, are far larger than anything we have experienced in the past, and the government-reported CPI of 3 percent or less indicates only trivial monetary inflation, that I seriously doubt the published chart has ANY connection to reality. Wake up, sheeple.
